Abstract
Chondromyxoid fibromas are uncommon bone tumors that are most often found at the proximal metaphyses of long bones. Chondromyxoid fibromas of the head and neck are very rare, preponderantly in the jaws. The greatest incidence is in the second and third decades of life. This article reports on a chondromyxoid fibroma of the sphenoethmoid sinuses in a 53-year-old male with the initial presentation of retrobulbar soreness. MRI and sinus CT scan were performed and showed sphenoethmoid lesion. Endoscopic sinus surgery was performed first and chondromyxoid fibroma was proved. Then he received operation again with midfacial degloving approach.
