Abstract
This paper proposes a compact, multilayer, and smaller Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) beamforming designed for automotive millimeter-wave radar applications at 77 GHz. By moving Butler matrix components to the upper layer, the circuit's footprint can be reduced by 40 %. It can also be applied to multilayer applications. The total overall size of this paper is 26mm × 10mm.
