Abstract
Multicasting is a key technology to
support multimedia applications on the
Internet. In this project, we have
investigated related issues of
multicasting and designed a promising
multicast mechanism that combines the
characteristics of multicast, QoS routing,
and RSVP to accommodate
heterogeneous recipients for multimedia
applications. We will show some
simulation results to demonstrate the
superiority of the proposed approach
over two other multicast mechanisms,
namely, MOSPF and QOSPF.
