Abstract
The Porter’s five force model, diamond model and the strategy of Co-competition are used to analysis the boost of the foundry business at tsmc Taiwan. The success is based on the wave of the breakthrough of semiconductor technology development, the innovation of the fabless business model and the transformation of IDM. How to keep the momentum, the competition analysis of tsmc/Samsung/Intel and the raise of mainland China are also addressed at this thesis.
