Abstract
Liquid–liquid equilibria of the ternary system water + tetradecane + 2-butyloxyethanol in the temperature range from 298.15 to 338.15K
were investigated at atmospheric pressure. The experimental data correlated well with the UNIQUAC model. For the system with a
three-liquid-phase-coexisting region, all the six UNIQUAC interaction parameters can be determined numerically by minimizing the deviation
of the compositions of three coexisting liquid phases only.
