Abstract
When an enterprise or the national economics developing into a certain stage, developing speed grows slowly. For example: The developing of economics declining, the rate of unemployment rising etc. In order to solve the problems, people will manufacture in a cheaper country, create new products, reinvestment, improve staff's efficiency or the business method etc. And by improving and managing the way that has used extensively and widely accepted.
First introduce the meaning of productivity and the research of company level productivity. And this paper emphasizes on the factory level of productivity. Three productivity indices are addressed for the productivity measurement. Through the definition of input and output factors that sets up and evaluate the productivity model. In addition, according to the productivity model being developed, several issues related to manufacturing decisions are discussed, such as outsourcing and new product manufacturing.
Finally, an electric parts manufacturing factories are adopted for illustrating and validating the performance of productivity measurement. The productivity model was confirmed by the case company. And through the explanation of the influencing partial factor productivity to total factor productivity that can support managers analyze and make decisions. Due to the productivity point ; enhance the quality on manufacturing decisions.
