Abstract
The carbon-sulfur bond in Cp2Ni2(μ-SR)2 is reductively cleaved by treatment with lithium aluminium hydride to give the corresponding carbonhydrogen bond. Preliminary examination of the reaction mechanism is described. © 1986.
