Air-containing necrosis as the imaging predictor for imminent carotid blowout in patients with head and neck cancer

Carotid blowout syndrome (CBS) is a devastating complication of head and neck cancer (HNC). In this study, we describe radiological features that can predict imminent (<6 months) carotid blowout in patients with HNC.
