Abstract
Prothrombin Induced by Vitamin K Absence or Antagonist-II (PIVKA-II) is a diagnostic marker for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is the standard management for intermediate stage HCC but lacks effective response predictors. We investigated the utility of PIVKA-II as a predictor of TACE response.
