Abstract
We consider a new transmission mode for solving the problem of synchronous MBS in 802.16j mobile multi-hop relay network. We first proposed an efficient algorithm, MRSA (Multicast Rate Selection Algorithm), to minimize the maximum cumulative delay of a fixed multicast or broadcast path. Then we compared several algorithm of finding path. We propose SPANR (Shortest Path Algorithm with Neighbor Reselection) path method, which is modified from shortest path algorithm for MBS routing. We have verified our algorithm via simulation, and showed it is most closed to the optimal lower bound over all.
