Abstract
This study aims at developing an available transportation management information base (TMIB) for Taiwan ITS deployment. TMIB is the major part in finishing the TTCIP (Taiwan Transport Communication for ITS Protocol). Based on United States' NTCIP, and referring to the traffic control protocol announced by MOTC in year 1998, the proposition of TMJB has edited. In order to test the information base, a simulation program for the transmission between a traffic management information center (TMIC) and roadside units (RSU) is developed. This study has accomplished the debug and all tests. This product can be applied to field practices.
