Abstract
Skin covers the majority of surface area of human. This study aims to improve the inverse Monte Carlo fitting method to extract optical coefficients of the epidermis and shallow dermis from reflectance spectra more reliably and precisely. The proposed approach was validated by fitting in-vivo human skin spectra with errors less than 13%.
