Abstract
The inheritance of family-owned business (FOB) is a great challenge in Taiwan. Although the experience of family-owned businesses in the developed countries can be an example to be investigated for the study, it may not fit in Taiwan family-owned businesses due to different cultures and values. How to help Taiwan FOB’s succession plan successfully is the topic of this study. The study presents an operational FOB succession plan model for whom facing inheritance dilemma in Taiwan. The study uses a case to verify the operability of the model. According to the verified result, the model can work effectively in the studied case.
