A functional electrical stimulation (FES)
assisted pedaling wheelchair were developed,
in which an FES pedaling control and a
front-disk motor control were included. A
computer simulation for FES-assisted
pedaling movement was investigated and it
was experimentally validated on two healthy
subjects.
