Abstract
The control channel is very important for MAC protocol. Common control channel (CCC) is necessary for some MAC protocols. However, in cognitive radio networks, CCC is hard to establish. Proposed MAC protocol solves multichannel hidden terminal, broadcast message, and load balance problems. In addition, proposed MAC protocol also solves the problem of common control channel, and cooperative sensing.
In addition to above mentioned problems, it’s more important that MAC protocols should provide good throughput and delay time. Proposed MAC protocol uses channel hopping technique and split-phase to solve those problems and it maintain a good performance of throughput and delay time.
