Abstract
永續經營為二十一世紀農業生產之重要趨勢,其中有機農業的為落實永續經營的
主要方法之一。在有機農業中,使用堆肥減少化學肥料、殺蟲殺草劑的使用以減
低對環境的衝擊,及重複利用生質源以減少對環境的過度開發被視為最重要的課
題。土壤中自然存在的枯草桿菌屬細菌由於具有可調節微生態環境以促進植物生
長,分泌拮抗物質以保護植物免於病蟲害,與具備強力分解酵素以循環利用有機
廢棄物等優點,被視為有機農業實施的重要材料。惟自然存在的枯草桿菌屬細菌
之各種功能有其應用上的限制。
本計劃即針對上述問題,從分子生物、微生物生態生理方面著手改良枯草桿菌屬
細菌之有機生質源分解利用能力以用為開發農業廢棄物為有機農業栽培介質。在
研究計畫中,已分別完成桿菌屬細菌表現與分泌載體構築及纖維分解酵素基因次
選殖,與桿菌屬細菌對作物增產應用之評估等工作。
Subjects
Sustainable operation is the trend of 21st century agriculture. Among these, organic
agriculture is the most promising sector. How to reduce the use of chemical
fertilizer and pesticides to reduce the environments impacts and how to recycle the
organic biomass to reduce the over-development becomes the most important tasks in
organic agriculture operation. Bacillus spp. exist naturally in soils can promote plant
growth by adjustment of micro-environment, protect plant from insects and diseases
by secretion of antagonist materials, recycle organic wastes by secretion of strong
hydrolysis enzymes. However, certain limitation in wild type Bacillus spp.
capability retards their applications.
During the study, we have constructed some useful vectors and sub-cloning of
cellulase genes, evaluated the growth-promotion effects of Bacillus spp. and mix the
composts, growth-promoting and plant protection Bacillus spp. co-developed by this
group projects and use in the greenhouse and mountain farm to evaluate the
accomplishment.
