Abstract
The basic aim of the integrated project,
Kuroshio Upstream Dynamics Experiment
(KUDEX), is to understand why and how the
Kuroshio varies in its upstream area as well
as the areas southeast of Taiwan and east of
the Luzon Strait. This project, the KUDEX
office, provides not only the necessarily
administrative services, such as arrangement
of cruises and missions, data and information
exchange, setting-up data bank and home
page, but also providing technical helps and
manpower supports to all KUDEX sea-going
experiments. The latter is critical to the
success of the whole project.
