Abstract
Summary: A series of Ru-Ru triply bonded dimers, [Ru2(μ-CO)2(μ-DPPM)2X2], is obtained quite readily in an unusual way. Despite the presence of the four bridging ligands, the rich chemistry concerning the multiple bond is still accessible via relocation of one or two carbonyl groups.
