Abstract
We propose to scatter unpolarized protons from a proton target polarized in three mutual directions and measure the polarization of the recoil proton in the same direction as the target polarization. The directions of polarization are perpendicular to the scattering plane, in the direction of the recoil proton, and orthogonal to the above two. The results of this measurement can be used to differentiate Regge-pole theory from the impact-factor representation.
