Abstract
The SU(2) and SU(3) pure gauge theories have been studied on a 104 random-block lattice. The Wilson loops up to size 5 × 5 have been calculated by Monte Carlo simulations. The scaling behavior is revealed and the asymptotic-freedom scale parameter is estimated for SU(2) and SU(3) pure gauge theories. © 1992 The American Physical Society.
