Abstract
The primary goal of this project is on
the development of intelligent home care
system. Human action identifications
enable us to identify human actions so that
proper warnings can be issued when
dangerous situations occur, especially in
domestic environment. The goal of the
project in the first year is focused on the
intelligent human action identifications
based on the given human contour and
human angle parameters. Graphical
software “Life Forms” is firstly adopted to
initially provide the human joint angles for
the human action identifications. Fuzzy
action classifications and rule-base for
identification are designed and constructed
such that actions such as standing, walking,
running, sitting, and lying can be
identified. The change of actions from
standing to lying indicates the possibility
of dangerous situations and special
warning is triggered.
