Abstract
The charmed B decays, B→DP, D*P, and DV, are reanalyzed using the latest experimental data, where P and V denote the pseudoscalar meson and vector meson, respectively. We perform global fits under the assumption of flavor SU(3) symmetry. The size of the decay amplitudes and the strong phases between the topologically distinct amplitudes are studied. Predictions of the related Bs decay rates are made based upon the fitted results. We also note a serious SU(3) symmetry breaking or inconsistency in the DV sector. © 2007 The American Physical Society.
