The emphasis of the respiratory system
study in the veterinary gross anatomy is
primarily on the lungs, especially the
difference of branching bronchus of lung in
all kinds of domestic animals, which always
remains a significant subject for beginners.
Twelve lungs in each kinds of pig、goat、dog
and cat were conducted to achieve the
plastination by scraping off the tissue around
the ring hyaline cartilage of the bronchus and
bronchiole. The branching situations of the
different animal bronchial trees were
classified and discussed. The completed
plastic samples can do as the teacher’s
demonstration in anatomical practice or in
ordinal exhibition except for researching and keeping long time.
