Abstract
In this article, historical approaches will be utilized to analyze the “war and peace” viewpoints of the five leaders of Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It also explains the transition and adaption of China’s Policy of five Leaders on Taiwan between 1949 and 2016. Further, domestic and foreign variables are utilized to describe Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping’s “war and peace” viewpoints. In addition, by gathering and collecting important speech information and documentations of the leaders, this article will analyze key point of China’s policy on Taiwan. The study find that there are four factors effecting the changes between China’s policy on Taiwan and “war and peace” viewpoints of the leaders. They are “International Order” 、 “Impact of Globalization” 、 “Implication’s Change of China’s Policy on Taiwan” and“Level’s Change of China’s Policy on Taiwan” .In the end, a strategic quadrant was being drawn to show the “war and peace” viewpoints of the leaders. Finally, three conclusions are being made. First, in order to make the research upon the transition and adaption of China’s Policy of the leaders on Taiwan, we need to pay attention to the dynamic change throughout time. Second, “war and peace” viewpoints of five leaders of the CCP mainly be affected by the international situation and international order. And the China’s policy of five leaders on Taiwan mainly be affected by the situation in Taiwan. Last, in order to provide reference for future researches, efforts are being made to draw a quadrant chart to conclude interaction between China’s policy on Taiwan and “war and peace” viewpoints of the leaders.
