To be specific, the goals of this paper are as follows. Firstly, I try to examine the meaning of Heaven and Man in Guo Xiang’s commentary to Zhaungzi. Secondly, I intend to elucidate the theoretical relations between the concepts of Heaven and Man and other issues, such as the traces and the which leaves traces, teaching of names and ziran(自然), the problem of evil. Finally, by the inspection of the concepts of Heaven and Man, I wish to give out a rather relevant than alien philosophical picture between Han dynasty and Wei-Jin era.
