Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to observe relationships between environmental protests and Green Party voting through spatial analysis. However, how the environmental protests convert to Green Party voting would be influenced by post-materialism and party competition of Taiwan. Thus, it is essential to control those variables to examine relationships between explanatory variables and dependent variable.
In summary, the findings in this study suggest that how long environmental protests last and average number of people of protests effect Green Party voting. Besides, Green Party voting is influenced by spatial factor and heavily influenced by socioeconomic status and political ecology of Taiwan.
