Abstract
EDOT monomer and Pt nanoparticles were polymerized under UV and drop coated on a screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE). The PEDOT-Pt SPCE enhances electrocatalytic properties, similar to that of the PEDOT-Au film. Under 0.5 mM ascorbic acid (AA), the PEDOT-Pt SPCE showed an enhancement of peak current to 1.66 μA from 1.32 μA with reference to a bare SPCE, and a reduction of the peak potential from 0.55 to 0.51 V. The composite film performed better under acid treatment.
