Abstract

© 2018, College of Life Science. All rights reserved. This report presents two new mycoheterotrophic orchids of Taiwan, i.e., Cyrtosia septentrionalis (Rchb.f.) Garay and Gastrodia kaohsiungensis T.P. Lin. The genus Cyrtosia in Taiwan is also reviewed. The pollinia of Galeola lindleyia and G. falconeri share the same morphology as two species of Cyrtosia found in Taiwan. The pollinia may provide new evidence to merge Galeola with Cyrtosia.
