Abstract
Hyperthermia, the heating of tumor cells, is a type of adjuvant cancer therapy. A multiple-frequency driving system that combines power patterns of different frequencies is proposed for improved tumor therapy. This driving system has the flexibility to drive transducers of higher frequency for superficial tumors or lower frequency for the deep-seated tumors.
