Abstract
In this thesis, we expand the well-known Buyer-Seller protocol to Cloud environment, in which improved spread spectrum watermarking scheme is included to enhance the overall performance. Depending on the service mode the Cloud provided, two Cloud-based Buyer-Seller protocols are proposed. In the first protocol, Cloud behaves as a service infrastructure provider. Seller uses Cloud to speed up his computation and save storage and bandwidth costs. In the second protocol, Cloud behaves as a service platform provider. She offers an E-commerce platform to activate the transaction between Buyer and Seller. Owing to Cloud’s computation power and its Pay-as-you-go business model, we can build an efficient, effective, fair and secure service for multimedia trading. To the best of our knowledge, the proposed scheme is the first one that brings Buyer-Seller protocol to Cloud environment, and provides a solution to customer’s rights, scalability, and robustness issues in multimedia content distribution.
