Abstract
Liver cirrhosis is a very frequent seen disease in Taiwan. Traditionally, doctors use ultrasound in detecting the liver-related diseases. However, the ratio of false diagnosis has increased due to the difference in human structures and the subjectivity of doctors. Therefore, in our research, we use wavelet transformation to calculate the mean square scattering distance of the ultrasound signals obtained from the ultrasound machine. Because of the great complexity of various tissues, there are many noises and attenuations of the signals. Therefore, we use a noise detecting method, and find a set of threshold to decrease the number of noise. Herein, we use both simulation and real signals to observe the efficiency of denoising and obtain signals with fewer noises. This study will help doctors in diagnosing liver-related diseases and decrease the man-made false diagnosis.
