Abstract
We experienced a 20 years old female who had active bleeding during CT examination. She was diagnosed as intracranial hemorrhage due to rupture of AVM at left fronto -parieto-temporal region. In plain CT study, ventricular bloody casting was noted in the posterior horns of moderately dilated lateral ventricles and 4 th ventricle. In postcontrast CT study, more blood was noted in the bodies and posterior horns of lateral ventricles, third ventricle, and 4 th ventricle, which became much more dilated. Abnormal contrast enhancement was demonstrated in the layering blood which might imply active bleeding with leakage of con-trast medium. Chinese J. Radiol. 13:409-412, 1988.
