Abstract
A simple formula is described for the apparent admittance of a monopole of fixed length and radius when driven from a coaxial line (conductor radii and ). If is known at values of with fixed at and at m values of with fixed at , it can be evaluated from the given formula for all combinations of and in the two ranges of and . It is assumed that and .
