Abstract
In my study, we use imidazolidin-2-one as starting material to couple with para-bromophenyl on 1, 3-N,N’ position, and after that, we couple with fluorene by Suzuki- Miyamura reaction to forming fluorene-based polymers. We also report the preparation of polymers that are copolymerization of fluorene, cabazole or tripheny-mine and cyclic urea. The substituent effects on the photophysical and thermo properties of these copolymers have been carefully explored.
