Abstract
Synthesis of spinel lithium manganate powders using an inverse emulsion process was investigated. The electrochemical properties of the powders were investigated using two-electrode test cells. The specific capacity and cyclability of the powders heated under different conditions were evaluated by charge-density cycling tests. The obtained powders were found to be electrochemically active with a homogeneous microstructure in submicron order.
