Abstract
In the fiscal year of 2003, a total
budget of NT$ 36,179,100 was planed
to support 39 projects. Among them, 19
projects belong to the field of
Entomology and 20 projects belong the
field of Plant Pathology. The projects
mainly focused on diagnoses of plant
diseases and pests control; taxonomical,
physiological and molecular studies on
plant pests and pathogens. Combined
with the other activities sponsored by
NSC, the research and development in
the plant protection field was
strengthened.
