Abstract
The purpose of this study is to replicate the first
year study on female subjects. The research
model and method (including the process and
tools) will be the same. It has been a fact for a
long time that studies on female crime are
relatively less than that of male crime. Yet the
number (ratio) of female crime increase quickly
for the past two decades. Difference between
female crime and male crime is a true
phenomenon. The limited researches data
pointed to the difference was resulted from
nurturance attitude/social-cultural difference
for female/male development, other referred to
the difference caused by varied psychological
reactions of male/female toward life stressors,
and still others refer to the difference of
physiological/biological make-ups. Following
this line of thinking, it is necessary to study
female crime from the bio-psycho-social model.
This study will, by using the technique
developed in the first year study, try to
3
differentiate between the persistent type and
limited type among female delinquents, and
will try to build up a preliminary norm on
female youth (from 10 years old to 18 years
old).
