Abstract
A mixture of-TCP with formaldehyde crosslinded gelatin ( GTF) was developed as a bone substitute in this patent. The content of formaldehyde in the composite was used to control physical and biological properties of the gelatin structure which were in trem of crosslinking gelatin molecules, solubilitdy and biodegradation of the reconstituted matrices . After preparation of the GTF, the developed material was soaked in a normal saline for a oeriod of time. The purpose of this study was to analyze composition of the extracts, and to evaluate biological properties of the GTF.#0565#
