Abstract
We consider a very general setup where channels are assumed to be an arbitrary conditional distribution. For such channels, we conduct capacity analysis, derive various performance measures in terms of achievable and asymptotically achievable rate, and discuss the application principles. Besides capacity analysis, we consider a specific type of systems called molecular communication systems and take it as an application example of our theorems.
