Abstract
An explicit finite-difference scheme for solving the three-dimensional Maxwell''s equations using CPU/GPU platform is presented in time domain. Computational performance will be assessed based on the results obtained from the calculation in Nvidia Tesla K20(GPU) and in I7-4820K CPU. This thesis develop a method that get good speedup by using shared memory. Final we simulate a photonic crystals waveguide converter problem to prove this program correctness.
