Transactions Letters: Discrete Cosine Transform in Error Control Coding

We will define a new class of real-number linear block codes using the discrete cosine transform (DCT). We will also show that a subclass with a BCH-like structure can be defined and, therefore, encoding/decoding algorithms for BCH codes can be applied. A (16, 10) DCT code is given as an example.
