Abstract
Airport in result of globalization, mostly are under master plan or refurbishment with up-to-dated technology to satisfy the huge demand of passengers from various regions. For Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), to attract more passengers or to become a region hub, it should create its own unique advantages to differentiate from competitors in region.ased on the analysis on macro environment and the main and supporting industries developing conditions, researcher concluded that KLIA has the potential to compete against Singapore Changi International Airport.esearcher concluded the findings in four statements. First, KLIA should differentiate and positioning as secondary cities hub. Second, emphasize on the East Asia and the Middle East markets. Third, strengthen MAS and negotiate within others Malaysia based airlines, even the surrounding country national airlines to get into an alliances relationship. Last, government welcome policies are helpful to attract more passengers and investment on the airport master plan.
