Abstract
A study was carried out to follow the microstructural evolution of the active braze, Ticusil, after brazing, and its wetting ability on both beryllium copper and 304SS substrates was also evaluated. Brazing was at least 900°C for 20 min. It was found that three reaction layers exist between the active braze alloy and 304SS, and there is no interfacial reactions between Be-Cu and Ticusil braze.
