Abstract
Abstract A new current-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using a four-terminal floating nullor FTFN is presented. This oscillator provides the following advantages: (i) controllable oscillation frequency by a grounded resistor; (ii) it is easily converted into a voltage-controlled oscillator; (iii) the use of grounded capacitors, which are suitable for IC implementation; (iv) the availability of current-mode quadrature current outputs; (v) low passive and active sensitivites. Experimental results which confirm the theoretical analysis are given.
