Abstract
Magnetoplasmons, applied static magnetic field on the surface plasmons, are more complicated than surface plasmons that didn’t affect by the static magnetic field. In this article, we study the magnetoplasmons modes in the infinite periodic structure co- mposed of alternating metal and dielectric layers. The magnetic field is applied parall- el to the interfaces and we consider propagation perpendicular to the applied field (Voigt configuration). The exact dispersion relation has been derived by analytic method on the basic of local theory. The analytic solutions for the asymptotic frequencys( ) has been found in the nonretarted limit. The surface plasmon splitting in dispersion under the magnetic field. The symmetry of the modes are broken by applying magnetic field.
