Abstract
A novel DC bus regulation strategy for gridconnected PV power generation system is proposed in this paper. The power flow of the grid-connected PV power generation system is introduced first. The operational principles of different DC bus regulation strategies are presented. The mathematical equations for the current command adjustment of the injected AC line current are derived. The proposed DC bus regulation strategy can mitigate the AC line current variation, improve the power quality of AC mains, reduce the size of the DC-link capacitor, and increase the reliability of the grid-connected PV power generation system. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed DC bus regulation strategy. © 2008 IEEE.
