Abstract
In this project, we proposed and
implemented an integrated microsensor by
using MEMS and IC technologies to improve
the quality of sensor chip and minimize the
cost by possible mass production. The
system contains a microsensor, a single chip
microprocessor (80C196KC) and a LCD for
portable instrument prototype. The
microsensor is designed and fabricated with a
two-electrode electrochemical cell, a currentto-
voltage converter and operational
amplifiers. The microsensor is implemented
by using the UMC 0.5m CMOS technology
with die size of 1.0 mm ×1.0 mm. The
electrode area is 600m × 800m.
