Abstract
Three cases of retrcaal ureter are reprted: One 71-year- old man had had a long preoperative history of right renal stone. One 37-year-oold man had right renal and upper ureteral stone associated with hydronephrosis.A 15-year-old boy was fund to hae right hydronephroses n screenint abdminal sonography. The diagnooses oof tw cases were made pre-operatively by intravenoous urography, retrograde pyelography and computed tomography. Each patient received surgical treatment, with good result. The diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis in cases of retrocaval ureter were discussed and relevant literature, reviewed.# 0065#
