Abstract
The irradiation effect on the NiFe/Cu/NiFe/NiMn spin valve has been investigated. It was found that the defect density was enhanced ten times after the irradiation of 8 MeV Ni-ions at the dosage of 1013/cm2. The M-H hysteresis as well as the magnetoresistance ratio has been found to be changed.
