Abstract
The main purpose of the research presented is to study the dynamic behavior of loop heat pipe (LHP). We can use the method of system identify to find out the dynamic model of LHP, including the Start-up behavior as an important part of dynamic behavior and to study the influence of the start-up behavior due to different heat load and operating angle on LHP. Besides, discuss how to utilize the transient behavior test in short time to forecast the steady-state performance of LHP, and to create a method of rapid quality control test. There are two main points in the research : (1) The dynamic structure system of LHP is variable due to different heat load and operation angle. (2) It is the successful start-up range of LHP when heat load is between 50W and 120W. And the relationship between temperature and heat load is linear during this successful start-up range. (3) By the transient behavior test in short time , it only costs 0.05 times of the original test time to forecast the steady –state performance of LHP.
